Identity Honored in Crain’s Detroit Business

BINGHAM FARMS, Mich., MARCH 31, 2010 — Crain’s Detroit Business recently named Identity Social Media Director Brandon Chesnutt to its 2010 class of 20 in their 20s. Crain’s has also named Identity as a finalist in its first ever Ad Talent Contest. Identity Partner Mark Winter made the announcement.

Now in its fifth year, Crain’s 20s program highlights local professionals who are living proof that young people are working hard to stimulate Michigan’s economy and creative growth. Crain’s recognized Chesnutt for jumpstarting and expanding Identity’s social media practice group, as well as his involvement in organizing more than a dozen events and conferences designed to connect Detroit’s growing interactive community. Crain’s will celebrate Chesnutt and the other honorees at a special event on May 6th at Bookies Bar & Grille in Detroit. Crain’s has also recognized Identity as one of four finalists in its Ad Talent Contest, which challenged small agencies to create an ad campaign that would motivate under-30 creatives and young professionals to stay in Michigan. The strategy behind Identity’s campaign (My Detroit. My Secret.) is for young people to share their secrets peer to peer, proving that Detroit has plenty to offer. Crain’s will name the winner at the 20 in their 20s event on May 6th.
