Eric D. Novetsky Named Partner at Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 8, 2015—Eric D. Novetsky has been named partner at Southfield, Michigan-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C. Jaffe CEO Bill Sider made the announcement.
Mr. Novetsky joined Jaffe in 2008 and is a member of the firm’s Finance and Insolvency & Reorganization practice groups, specializing in the representation of lenders and borrowers in commercial loan transactions and litigation, as well as the representation of creditors, creditors’ committees and corporate debtors in bankruptcy proceedings. He also represents property owners, managers and lessees before the Michigan Tax Tribunal and State Tax Commission in commercial property tax appeals.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Novetsky held various positions with several Fortune 500 companies, including DaimlerChrysler, Eaton Corporation and John Deere, where he specialized in the fields of procurement, international logistics, foreign trade, customs and materials management.
Mr. Novetsky is a cum laude and order of the coif graduate of Wayne State University Law School. He earned his MBA from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
