J. David Garcia and Jason Killips Recognized as 2013 Rising Stars

Garcia and Killips honored by Super Lawyers Magazine

Young & Associates, a Farmington Hills, Mich.-based law firm specializing in complex business litigation, announced that J. David Garcia and Jason Killips have been recognized as 2013 Rising Stars by Super Lawyers Magazine.

The annual Super Lawyers Rising Stars list honors the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state who are 40 years old or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less. Rising Stars must first go through the Super Lawyers selection process, which is rated based on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, and includes only five percent of attorneys in each state.

Garcia specializes in complex commercial litigation, including issues such as intellectual property, sales representative, automotive supplier, accountant liability, trade secret, unfair competition, business and contract litigation. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Garcia continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. He resides in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

Killips focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, which includes intellectual property, accountant liability, automotive supplier and business dispute litigation. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Michigan Law School. He resides in Berkley, Mich.
