In order to qualify, students must score well on the qualifying test, earn SAT scores that validate the student’s performance on the qualifying test, possess an outstanding academic record throughout high school, and be endorsed and recommended by the high school principal. The scholarships will be presented in spring 2013.
“It is an incredible honor for each of these Detroit Country Day School students to be chosen as National Merit and Achievement Semifinalists,” said Shilling. “They have had outstanding academic careers and each student is highly deserving. We are incredibly proud of their academic success.”
