X Team International Partner Venture Commercial Signs First True Food Kitchen In Texas

The Plaza at Preston Center in Dallas

DALLAS-FORT WORTH, Texas, September 28, 2012—X Team International, an international alliance of retail real estate advisors with expertise in more than 45 major markets throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe, announced today that Dallas-Fort Worth-based partner Venture Commercial has signed Fox Restaurant Concepts’ True Food Kitchen as the newest tenant at The Plaza at Preston Center. X Team International Partner Mike Geisler of Venture Commercial, who is serving as exclusive broker for The Plaza at Preston Center, made the announcement.

The brainchild of best-selling author Dr. Andrew Weil and James Beard Award-nominated Sam Fox of Phoenix-based Fox Restaurant Concepts, True Food Kitchen has garnered the reputation of being one of the country’s healthiest restaurants, and has become known for its use of organic and locally grown products as well as seasonal menu changes. The Plaza at Preston Center location will be the seventh True Food Kitchen opened in the U.S. by Fox Restaurant Concepts, and the first in Texas.

Geisler and Easley Waggoner of Venture Commercial represented The Plaza at Preston Center, while Jack Breard of UCR Realty represented True Food Kitchen.

Located at the southeast corner of Preston Road and Northwest Highway in the heart of University Park, The Plaza at Preston Center contains more than 30 retail and dining options that cater to the Park Cities and surrounding areas. True Food Kitchen is slated to open in The Plaza at Preston Center’s newest, five-story mixed-use building in early 2013. The building will house all retail tenants on the ground floor. The University Park public library will occupy the second floor with remaining floors dedicated to office space.
