Trott & Trott Attorney Marcy J. Ford Included on Crain’s Detroit Business 2011 “Women to Watch” List

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., September 20 2011 – Marcy J. Ford, partner and executive vice president at Trott & Trott, P.C. (Trott), a Farmington Hills, Mich.-based law firm servicing the mortgage banking industry, was included on the Crain’s Detroit Business 2011 “Women to Watch” list. Trott President and Managing Partner David A. Trott made the announcement.
The Crain’s Detroit Business “Women to Watch” list recognizes 15 businesswomen in metropolitan Detroit each year, who through innumerable accomplishments, have garnered positive reputations and are seen as innovators and regional thought leaders. Nominees at all career stages are eligible, with a record of significant work-related achievement.
Marcy is a 1984 graduate of Western Michigan University, where she earned her Master’s degree with honors in 1986. She is a 1993 cum laude graduate of Wayne State University Law School. The Chair of Trott’s executive management team, Marcy serves as a board member of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association (Eastern District of Michigan) and is active on the loss mitigation subcommittee for the NACTT Mortgage Liaison Committee. Additionally, she serves as a board member and the current vice president of USFN—America’s Mortgage Banking Attorneys, a 50 state trade association for mortgage banking attorneys. When the Vice President term expires, she will then serve two additional years as president. Marcy also currently serves by appointment on the Default Advisory Group for Freddie Mac.
