Trott & Trott Attorney Marcy Ford Recognized by Michigan Lawyers Weekly with “Leaders in the Law” Award

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., March 9, 2010 — Marcy Ford, executive vice president and managing partner for the Bankruptcy and Foreclosure First Legal department of Trott & Trott, P.C., was recognized by Michigan Lawyers Weekly with the “Leaders in the Law” award. Trott & Trott President and Managing Partner David A. Trott made the announcement.
Founded in 1986, Michigan Lawyers Weekly is an esteemed publication that provides information on legal rulings, verdicts and settlements, legal opinions, discipline matters and all news vital to attorneys in the state of Michigan. “Leaders in the Law” honors 25 members of the state’s legal community. Recipients exemplify the noble tradition of the legal profession; win cases and solve problems with utmost integrity; inspire and lead others; act as role models and mentors; and, display passion on behalf of clients and the community.

Marcy is a 1984 graduate of Western Michigan University, where she received her master’s degree with honors in 1986. She is a 1993 cum laude graduate of Wayne State University Law School. Marcy serves on the board of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association (Easter District of Michigan), as well as a board member and the secretary of USFN. Additionally, she serves as the Loss Mitigation Subcommittee assistant chair for the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees and was recently appointed to the Default Advisory Group for Freddie Mac.
Marcy was featured in the March 1, 2010 issue of Michigan Lawyers Weekly and will be honored at a luncheon on March 16, 2010 at the Marriott in Troy, Mich.
