Trott & Trott Attorney James Batchelor Recognized as Michigan Super Lawyer for Third Consecutive Year

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., September 14, 2010 – James Batchelor, Supervising Attorney of the Grand Rapids office for Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Trott & Trott, P.C., has been recognized as one of the best bankruptcy attorneys in Michigan by Super Lawyers magazine for the third consecutive year. Trott & Trott President and Managing Partner David A. Trott made the announcement.
Published annually since 1991, Super Lawyers magazine is a comprehensive and diverse listing of the top five percent of practicing attorneys in each state, as selected by their peers. Spanning more than 60 distinct practice groups, the resource guide highlights attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Mr. Batchelor concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University in 1968 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia in 1975. He also served four years in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Batchelor is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the State Bar of Virginia, the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Western District of Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
