SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 2, 2010 – Southfield, Mich.-based iGroup, Michigan’s leading and exclusive model and talent agency, has partnered with Michael George of Future Entertainment and the Miss Michigan USA Pageant to host a homecoming gala for Dearborn, Mich. resident and newly crowned Rima Fakih Miss USA 2010 on Friday, July 9, 2010. Tony DiMambro, lead talent agent at The iGroup, made the announcement.
This event marks Ms. Fakih’s first official homecoming visit since becoming Miss USA on May 16, 2010. The gala, which also serves as a fundraiser for The Pink Fund; a charity providing financial aid to individuals afflicted by breast cancer, starts at 9:00 p.m. in the Woodward Ball Room of The Westin Book Cadillac, located at 1114 Washington Blvd in Detroit.
“The iGroup is honored and proud to celebrate Rima Fakih Miss USA 2010 from Michigan,” said DiMambro. “We’ve had an ongoing relationship with the Miss Michigan USA Pageant for years, which made Rima’s win even more exciting. This gala allows us to cheer Rima on as she prepares for the Miss Universe Pageant in August, while also contributing to a great cause.”
Guests must be 21 years or older and RSVP prior to the event. A minimum donation of $20 will be collected at the door to benefit The Pink Fund. Guests are asked to dress cocktail chic with a touch of pink in support of the worthwhile cause.
