SOUTHFIELD, Mich., October 31, 2012 — Founding Partner Robert Iwrey, of Southfield, Mich.-based The Health Law Partners, has been recognized as a 2013 Top Lawyer by DBusiness magazine for the third time. Founding Partner Carey Kalmowitz made the announcement.
“Robert’s inclusion on DBusiness’ list for the third time demonstrates his presence in our industry as a prominent and valued attorney,” said Kalmowitz. “We are honored and proud to have him as a leader at our firm.”
Published annually, DBusiness’ Top Lawyers list is a comprehensive and diverse ranking of attorneys from 49 practice areas. The award is based on a peer-review survey, which was sent out to thousands of attorneys from Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties this past summer.
Iwrey is a practicing litigator and has specialized his practice in health care transactional law, including licensure, staff privileges, contracts, physician practice issues, and health care investigation and audit defense. Iwrey was also recognized as a DBusiness Top Lawyer in Health Care in 2010 and 2012. An alumnus of the University of Michigan, Iwrey went on to graduate from Wayne State University Law School. There he was awarded the America Jurisprudence Award in Advanced Legal Writing and was an award-winning member of Moot Court.
