The Health Law Partners’ Daniel Brown Named Treasurer of the National Sleep Foundation

ATLANTA, July 01, 2013 – Daniel Brown, managing shareholder of The Health Law Partners’ Atlanta office, has been named treasurer and member of the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors of the National Sleep Foundation (NSF). Founding Shareholder of The HLP Adrienne Dresevic made the announcement.
The four year term begins today, July 1, 2013. In these roles, Brown is responsible for the strategic direction of the nonprofit and its finances. Based in Washington D.C., the NSF is dedicated to improving health and wellness through sleep education and advocacy. Brown has served on he NSF Board of Directors for the past five years.
Brown has nearly 30 years of experience representing health care providers in the corporate and regulatory issues key to building successful health care businesses. Along the way he has become the leading legal expert in medical sleep health care. A frequent speaker and published author on the subject, Brown represents providers of sleep medicine testing and durable medical equipment (DME) therapy, owner-operators of sleep centers and laboratories and independent diagnostic testing centers.
A faculty member at the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine, Brown is also on the National Advisory Board of the Sleep Center Management Institute. Brown earned his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, and graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law with his juris doctorate.
