September 18-20: Michigan First Presents Disney Institute to Focus on Impeccable Customer Service, Leadership Excellence

Special session offered free to local college faculty and staff
LATHRUP VILLAGE, Mich. – July. 18, 2012 – From Sept. 18-20, Michigan First Credit Union will host Disney Institute, the benchmark educational program for service and leadership excellence, at its Lathrup Village headquarters. The credit union invites all metro Detroit businesses and organizations to attend and learn about customer service and leadership at the highest level. The programs, “Disney’s Approach to Quality Service” and “Disney’s Approach to Leadership Excellence”, will share the company’s unique strategies to create a culture dedicated to customer satisfaction and one that cultivates leadership at all levels.
“At Michigan First, we’re constantly looking for the best possible models to improve our member service and leadership skills every day,” says the credit union’s President/CEO Michael Poulos. “We’re thrilled to bring back Disney Institute’s impeccable training in customer service and leadership that we’ll use to empower our team members and the community. We’re also offering a free morning Leadership Excellence session to local college and university faculty and staff. As an educationally-focused organization, we felt it was a great opportunity to share these critical insights with the broader community.”
Michigan First will host three Disney Institute programs at their headquarters at ?27000 Evergreen Rd. in Lathrup Village:
- Tuesday, Sept. 18: Disney Institute’s Approach to Quality Service
- Wednesday, Sept. 19: Disney Institute’s Approach to Leadership Excellence
- Thursday, Sept. 20: Disney Institute’s Approach to Leadership Excellence
(Special complimentary 90-minute session for college and university faculty and staff)
The Tuesday and Wednesday sessions run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a continental breakfast served from 8-8:30 and lunch. The Thursday session runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Before August 3, registration is for $650 for both the Tuesday and Wednesday sessions or $349 for either individually. On or after August 3, the sessions are $750 together or $399 separately. The 90-Minute session on Thursday will be offered for free as a service to local higher education professionals. For all sessions, registration is required and space is limited.
