SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 24, 2009 – Southfield, Mich.-based pulse220, an experiential marketing agency, has acquired key assets from Royal Oak, Mich.-based Stanley Thomas & Associates (Stanley Thomas), an advertising specialty products and point-of-sale design and display firm in order to better assist current and prospective clients with expanded service offerings. pulse220 President and CEO Craig Erlich made the announcement.
The collaboration of the agencies will further refine and complement pulse220’s event and experiential marketing capabilities, supplying clients with an enhanced diversity in service options. Joining the pulse220 team are respected Stanley Thomas professionals, including marketing veteran Carolyn Koblin, who, with over 15 years of advertising and point-of-sale display experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the agency. This relationship will also add several of Stanley Thomas’s existing clients to the newly expanded pulse220 team. Under the arrangement, Stanley Thomas clients Serta, CE Communications, Doner Advertising and Owens Corning will be among the recipients of the more thoroughly enriched agency.
“Even amidst the economic decline, pockets of opportunity are to be found everywhere,” said Erlich. “This acquisition provides both pulse220 and Stanley Thomas with a mutually beneficial relationship in which we can offer all of our clients an array of enhanced marketing capabilities.”
Dan Gilbert, majority owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, founder of Quicken Loans and Chairman of Fathead, is a long-term client of pulse220. He added, “pulse220 has always been our first and best choice when seeking to make a lasting impression on our teammates and clients. The addition of Stanley Thomas to the pulse220 team will make an already excellent organization even better.”
