Detroit-based company growing to serve Detroit-area education, health care industries
DETROIT, May 29, 2013 – Powerlink, a New Center-based staffing, facilities management and maintenance services company, has hired 75 new employees in metro Detroit over the past six weeks. The growth is organic—within its existing client relationships—and is expected to continue over the course of 2013. Powerlink President and CEO Link Howard III made the announcement.
“We work with some of metro Detroit’s leading organizations, including Henry Ford Health Systems, Karmanos Cancer Institute and the Detroit Public Schools, so when we see growth, it’s good news for the city and the region,” says Howard. “Expanding our contract and staffing services with current clients is a testament to the relationships we’ve built with these local leaders and the exceptional services we provide.”
The company has seen significant expansion so far this year with its health care, education and manufacturing clients, bringing on new team members in environmental services, maintenance, food service and as part of its leadership team. Powerlink took in more than $23.55 million in revenue for 2012, up from $11.98 million in 2010.
