By: Mark Winter
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., February 15, 2010 — Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel (CBWM), a Birmingham, Mich.-based real estate broker with 11 offices and more than 400 real estate agents in southeastern Michigan, announced today that it will relocate to a new headquarters at 294 Brown Street in Birmingham, Mich. The building was purchased by CBWM partner David Trott. Kelly Sweeney, CEO of CBWM, made the announcement.
“This is an exciting venture for us,” said Trott, “and another indicator of CBWM’s commitment to remain the premier Broker in Southeast Michigan.”
The new building, with 20,500 square feet of office space, will house approximately 130 CBWM employees, presently working out of two in-town offices.
“The purchase and renovation of this landmark downtown Birmingham building will provide CBWM sales associates with a more open, communicative work environment,” said Sweeney, “and, importantly, will offer an innovative interactive real estate experience for our clients – one that exists nowhere else in this area.”
The new office is scheduled for a late Spring 2010 opening.
