LaVida Massage Announces Regional Expansion to North Carolina

HOWELL, Mich., August 20, 2009 — Howell, Mich.-based LaVida Massage, a unique massage center that promotes health and wellness, today announced the regional expansion of its Mich.-based franchise, where developer partners Bill Holden and Larry Shifflett opened the doors of the first LaVida location in Clemmons, N.C. John Hoose, founder of LaVida, made the announcement.

As previous franchise owners, the men identified an opportunity in the growing health and wellness industry and the largely untapped market for professional massage services in the area. After their initial introduction to LaVida, the men were immediately impressed by the unique qualities distinguishing the company as a standout in massage therapy: exceptional service; affordable price points; elegant ambiance; franchisee mentorship; and convenient and easy to navigate online booking tools.
