Brand to revolutionize the industry with patented processes and ultimate customer convenience
BERKLEY, Mich., January 21, 2013 — Wayne Wudyka, owner of Michigan-based Clean Brands, L.L.C, announced today the national launch of bizzie, the revolutionary cleaning service concept that combines home/office pick-up and delivery of laundry and drycleaning, an innovative locker-based delivery system and on-location cleaning for window treatments and light upholstery.
Wayne Wudyka unveils bizzie, the new national cleaning service concept, at a launch party at Farbman Group’s Lofts @ Woodward Center.bizzie was created to offer the ultimate convenience for consumers, taking cleaning services to where they live, work or even park. Featuring state-of-the-art mobile technology and a customer-focused and user-friendly brand approach to route development, bizzie takes drycleaning to the next level and gives busy consumers what they value most: time.
Wudyka, a nationally-recognized entrepreneur and leading authority in the drycleaning, textile restoration and franchising industries, owns and operates other successful cleaning businesses, including: Huntington Woods, Mich.-based Huntington Cleaners & Shirt Laundry and Birmingham, Mich.-based Wesch Cleaners, as well as the national 1-800-DryClean franchise. He has also grown renowned international textile restoration company CRDN to be the largest in the industry, reporting revenues in excess of $100 million.
The introduction of on-site lockers or “bizzie boxes,” is an innovative component of the bizzie business model. The locker system, using patented processes and smart phone technology, will be installed across the U.S. and Canada in office buildings, residential communities, multifamily residences and parking structures.
To operate the self-service lockers, customers lock their dirty garments in a “bizzie box,” and text bizzie their box number to place their order. When the order is complete and put back in the locker, the customer receives a text from bizzie with a personalized identification number which enables them to retrieve their items with unprecedented ease and on their own schedule.
Clean Brands, L.L.C.’s nationally recognized 1-800-DryClean chain will power the new service, along with the addition of new bizzie franchises. The company’s broad existing national footprint combined with the comprehensive new service ideally positions bizzie to make an immediate and dramatic impact in the U.S. and Canada. Territories are available for drycleaning operators interested in tapping into this new franchise offering, which essentially provides “a business in a box.”
“In a marketplace where the expense of building and opening a new store can be prohibitive, and where traditional route services can be difficult to grow, bizzie offers drycleaners the opportunity to diversify their businesses in a cost-effective manner,” said Wudyka. “It’s an unprecedented game changer for the laundry industry and for consumers. The days of dropping off clothes at the drycleaner are over for the customer.”
The bizzie brand was officially revealed Jan. 17, 2013, at an exclusive launch party held in downtown Detroit at the Lofts @ Woodward Center, a property operated by Southfield Mich.-based full-service real estate company Farbman Group. The property will be the first building in the nation to offer its residents the bizzie system. Residential and office properties wanting to offer their residents and tenants outstanding amenities in today’s competitive marketplace are expected to follow Farbman Group’s lead on implementing bizzie.
“Farbman Group prides itself on looking for ways to add value for our residents and tenants to make their lives easier, which includes offering innovative quality services like bizzie,” said Carrie Cohen, property manager at the Lofts @ Woodward Center. “Our residents are excited to be the first in the country to utilize this new time-saving service.”
