MIPRO Retained By Covanta Energy for PeopleSoft Implementation

MILFORD, Mich., May 30, 2013 – MIPRO, a Milford, Mich.-based consultancy specializing in implementations, upgrades and optimizations of Oracle’s PeopleSoft applications, announced today that they have been retained by Covanta Energy, one of the world’s largest owners and operators of infrastructure for the conversion of waste-to-energy and other renewable energy projects. MIPRO was selected by Covanta to lead a two-phase PeopleSoft Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) implementation project called IMPACT at their 40 EfW facilities across the country. Phase one will involve the implementation of the Maintenance Management and Inventory module, as well as any required configurations with existing modules in a phased rollout to three pilot facilities with deployment scheduled for fourth quarter 2013. Phase two will commence upon successful deployment of phase one at the pilot sites and will involve a full rollout to Covanta’s remaining 43 facilities.

MIPRO anticipates that full deployment for the project to all Covanta facilities across the country will be completed by fourth quarter 2014.
