Michigan Mutual, Inc. Hires Amy Mulholland as New Human Resources Director

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 22, 2013 – Michigan Mutual, Inc., a full service residential mortgage lender with locations across Michigan and the United States, announced the addition of Amy Mulholland as human resources director. Michigan Mutual, Inc. CEO Mark Walker made the announcement.

As human resources director, Mulholland is responsible for spearheading the company’s leadership development program. She is also responsible for developing, implementing and leading the company’s HR objectives and policies to attract and retain top talent, as well as cultivating and sustaining an employee-oriented, high performance culture. She will also serve on the executive team.

“Amy is joining Michigan Mutual, Inc. at a critical time in our organization—we are more than 400 employees-strong and plan to hire 100 more this year,” said Walker. “She is outstandingly driven, meticulously organized and has proven expertise and results in researching, developing and implementing world-class talent recruitment, development and retention programs. Prior to joining Michigan Mutual, Inc., Mulholland served as senior manager of organization management and development at Livonia, Mich.-based TRW Automotive, learning and development manager at Auburn Hills, Mich.-based NAO Benteler, and manager of organization development at Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Bosch. In addition to her professional credentials, Mulholland has also served as a mentor to high school students through metro Detroit nonprofit Winning Futures.

Mulholland earned her Master of Arts in performance improvement and instructional design from the University of Michigan, and her Bachelor of Arts in behavioral psychology from Western Michigan University. She is also certified in Myers Briggs, PDI Profilor, Lominger Choices, Predictive Index and Project Management.
