Michigan First Credit Union a “Top Workplace” and “Best & Brightest” Employer

Southeast Michigan credit union leads in benefits, employee education, customer service
LATHRUP VILLAGE, Mich. – November 26, 2013 –Michigan First Credit Union has received awards from both the Detroit Free Press as one of its 2013 Top Workplaces and from Corp! Magazine as a national Best & Brightest Company to Work For. This is the fifth year in a row that Michigan First has been recognized by the Free Press, the sixth year it has been honored by Corp! and its third year as a national award winner.
With more than 250 team members (Michigan First’s term for employees), the credit union carries a deep commitment to its membership, advanced technology and the local community. The financial institution has carved out a defined place for itself as innovative and community-focused—and a significant part of this mission is a commitment to grow leaders from within by creating a fun, educational environment.
