Meri Sue Engers Joins Meadowbrook Insurance Agency as Account Executive

SAGINAW, Mich., March 17, 2010— Meri Sue Engers has joined Southfield, Mich.-based Meadowbrook Insurance Group, Inc. (Meadowbrook, NYSE: MIG), a leader in specialty insurance programs, as an account executive in the Saginaw, Mich. Meadowbrook’s Insurance Agency location. Richard Smith, president of the Meadowbrook Insurance Agency in Saginaw, made the announcement.

In her role with Meadowbrook, Ms. Engers will be responsible for developing new customer relationships and is licensed to sell both personal and commercial property and casualty insurance, as well as life and health lines.

Prior to joining Meadowbrook, Ms. Engers worked with Bailey Insurance, where she opened and operated the Bay City office. Engers has a strong insurance background and has attained her designation as a Certified Insurance Service Representative and Certified Insurance Counselor. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Bay County Home Builders Association, Treasurer of the Bay County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Committee, an Ambassador for the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and is active with the Michigan Licensed Beverage Association.
