Mark Winter Elected President of Entrepreneurs’ Organization Detroit

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 14, 2013 – Southfield, Mich.-based Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Detroit, a chapter of the global community that enriches members’ lives through direct peer-to-peer learning, connections to experts and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, announced today that Bingham Farms-based Identity’s Managing Partner Mark Winter has been elected chapter president effective May 9, 2013.
As president, Winter is serving a 1-year term during which he is responsible for overseeing the board of directors, managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the success and sustainability of EO Detroit. Since the chapter’s founding in 1994, EO Detroit has grown to 146 members, generating a combined $1 billion in sales, and employs more than 7,000 employees.
A member of EO Detroit since 2004 and serving on the board since 2007, Winter is the managing partner of Bingham Farms, Mich.-based Identity. Founded in 1998, Identity is an integrated public relations firm driving strategic communications programs in the areas of brand strategy, media relations and marketing, social media and creative design for a diverse portfolio of clients across the United States.
Winter graduated from Western Michigan University with bachelor’s degrees in both marketing and public relations. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Detroit Regional Chamber and serves on the Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel board of directors.
