LaVida Massage Announces Opening of New Livonia Center

LIVONIA, Mich., March 14, 2011 – LaVida Massage, a Commerce, Mich.-based massage and wellness center, has announced the opening of a new LaVida location in Livonia, Mich. LaVida Massage Founder John Hoose made the announcement.

The new center, located at 30985 Five Mile Rd. in Livonia, opened earlier this month. Its spacious 2,100 square feet features a total of eight massage rooms.

The center will provide a number of services and products specifically designed to meet the needs of both men and women in the area, including a variety of massage therapy options, such as Swedish, couples, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, chair and corporate massages performed by certified massage therapists.

The center will be owned and managed by Vijay Patel. Patel, a former electrical engineer with more than 10 years of experience, took an interest in LaVida because of its franchise and managerial opportunities. Patel has also been a Livonia resident for 10 years.

“I’ve always enjoyed the responsibilities associated with management,” said Patel. “Owning and managing my own center gives me the freedom to do what I enjoy, while growing the LaVida brand and customer base in the area.”

Founded in 2007, LaVida has locations that span the United States, with several more centers slated to open in 2011. The location will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, and offer convenient online scheduling 24 hours a day.
