LaVida Massage Announces Opening of New Farmington Hills Center

COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, Mich., November 29, 2010 – LaVida Massage, a Commerce, Mich.-based massage and wellness center, has announced the opening of a new LaVida location in Farmington Hills, Mich. LaVida Massage Founder John Hoose made the announcement.

The new center, located at 30911 Orchard Lake Rd. in Farmington Hills, is slated to open December 1, 2010. Its spacious 3,080 square feet will feature 10 massage rooms, two aesthetics rooms and one couples massage room.

The center will provide a number of services and products specifically designed to meet the needs of both men and women in the area, including a variety of massage therapy options, such as Swedish, couples, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, chair and corporate massages performed by eight certified massage therapists.

The center will be owned by Commerce Twp. resident Shelly Pesta. Pesta, formerly in BioTech Medicine Sales and Marketing with more than 15 years experience in the Oncology research industry, took an interest in LaVida because of its business model, its focus and commitment to health and wellness and the opportunity to develop and run her own business.

Founded in 2007, LaVida has locations that span the United States, with several more centers slated to open in 2010.
