LaVida Massage Announces Opening of New Center in Bloomfield Hills

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., November 22, 2010 – LaVida Massage, a Commerce, Mich.-based massage and wellness center, has announced the opening of a new LaVida location in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. LaVida Massage Founder John Hoose made the announcement.

The new center, located at 39552 Woodward Ave., south of Long Lake Rd., is slated to open December 1, 2010. Its spacious 2,408 square feet will feature eight massage rooms, two body wrap rooms, and one aesthetics room.

The center will provide a number of services and products specifically designed to meet the needs of both men and women in the area, including a variety of massage therapy options, such as Swedish, couples, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, chair and corporate massages performed by 10 certified massage therapists. It will also be the first LaVida location to offer body wrap and infrared facial services.

The center will be owned and managed by Bloomfield Hills resident Kelly Fowler. Fowler, formerly an electrical engineer with more than 20 years experience in the automotive industry, took an interest in LaVida because of the variety of services it offers clients. Additionally, Fowler was intrigued by the amount of new technology introduced into the industry each year.

“I researched a variety of different health and wellness franchises, and in the end, LaVida was the right choice for me,” said Fowler. “I have a deep passion for health and wellness, as well as technology, and LaVida allows me to incorporate both of those interests into my center. Founded in 2007, LaVida has locations that span the United States, with several more centers slated to open in 2010. The location will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday thru Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday’s and offer convenient online scheduling 24 hours a day.
