LaVida Massage Announces Opening of First Florida Location

TAMPA, Fla., December 15, 2010 – LaVida Massage, a Commerce, Mich.-based massage and wellness center, has announced the opening of a new LaVida location in Tampa, Fla. The new center will mark the company’s first in the state. LaVida Massage Founder John Hoose made the announcement.

Located at 15706 North Dale Mabry Hwy, Suite 203, in the Colonial Promenade center, the spacious 2,400-square-foot facility officially opened December 8, 2010, and will features eight massage rooms and two couples massage rooms. An aesthetics room will also be phased into the facility at a later date.

The center will provide a number of services and products specifically designed to meet the needs of both men and women in the area. It includes a variety of massage therapy options, such as Swedish, couples, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, chair and corporate massages.

The Tampa center is owned and operated by franchisees Doug and Katie Walker. After researching numerous franchise options, the Walkers became interested in LaVida because of its large industry presence and potential growth opportunities.
