LaVida Massage Announces Expansion in Georgia with Signing of Two New Master Developers

ATLANTA, June 1, 2011 – LaVida Massage, a leading international provider of massage and wellness services, has named Duane Goodwin and Terry Sharp as Master Developers in the state of Georgia. As such, Goodwin and Sharp will be charged with spearheading the regional growth and the development of several centers in Atlanta and throughout Georgia.

LaVida’s development throughout Georgia is part of a consistent and strategic plan being implemented by the brand, which includes concentrated market expansion and growth in key market sectors throughout the U.S. and Canada.

As Master Developers, Goodwin and Sharp will be responsible for the coordination and development of new LaVida operations specific to the Georgia market. These duties include the recruitment of prospective franchisees, the research of potential LaVida center locations and overall brand development initiatives in the region. With two centers currently operating in Georgia, Sharp and Goodwin will double LaVida’s presence in Georgia by the end of 2011 with plans for further expansion into 2012.

Prior to joining LaVida Massage, both Goodwin and Sharp served as senior executives at Atlanta-based The Home Depot. Together, they bring experience in marketing, sales, human resources, merchandising, product development and financial management.
