Kristen Tassielli Named Board Member for Entrepreneurs’ Organization Detroit

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 18, 2013 — Southfield, Mich.-based Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Detroit, a chapter of the global community that enriches members’ lives through direct peer-to-peer learning, connections to experts and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, announced today that Plymouth-based Fitness Things, Inc. President Kristen Tassielli has been named a board member for the chapter.
As a board member, Tassielli is serving a one-year term during which she will work closely with the other board members to drive and maintain the chapter’s strategic direction, ensuring its success and sustainability. Since the chapter’s founding in 1994, EO Detroit has grown to 146 members, generating a combined $1 billion in sales and employing more than 7,000 employees.
Founded in 1984, Fitness Things is Michigan’s premier supplier of health and exercise equipment and service for commercial and residential fitness enthusiasts.
Tassielli earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Madonna University.
