70 Metro Detroit Women Business Leaders Attend Event at Firm’s Southfield Office
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., October 25, 2013––Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C.’s Women’s Caucus Group recently hosted a networking and speaking event featuring Heidi Alcock, senior program manager at Detroit Future City. Jaffe Partner and Women’s Caucus Group Co-Chair Alicia Schehr proudly made the announcement.
Attended by 70 Metro Detroit women business leaders, Alcock discussed Detroit Future City’s strategic framework and implementation strategies that will reshape and improve the quality of life for Detroiters.
“This is a pivotal time for Detroit, and we all are stakeholders in this community,” said Women’s Caucus Group Co-Chair Julianne Cassin Sharp. “The in-depth research and remarkable insight that shaped Detroit Future City’s vision inspired everyone at the event.”

Throughout the year the group organizes and hosts ongoing programming and events, including roundtables with prominent Michigan women business leaders, mentoring events and educational seminars.
