SOUTHFIELD, Mich., November 30, 2011 – Southfield-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C. announced today that it has collected a number of gently used suits, coordinates, accessories and shoes for Dress for Success Michigan. Jaffe lawyers, and guests of the recent networking event hosted by the Firm’s Women’s Caucus Group, donated all of the items.
“We want to thank everyone who helped make our drive a success by donating attire for the Dress for Success Michigan program,” said Sue Robinson, Jaffe Marketing Coordinator. “All of the great items that were collected will help many disadvantaged women return to or enter the workforce feeling confident.”
The mission of Dress for Success Michigan is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Each Dress for Success Michigan client receives a suit when she has a job interview and additional apparel up to a week’s worth of clothing when she becomes employed. Since 1997, Dress for Success has served more than 600,000 women around the world.
