ROYAL OAK, Mich., January 27, 2014 – Mary Ann Lievois, owner and CEO of Royal Oak-based commercial interiors firm ISCG, has been honored with the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Greater Detroit Chapter’s Top 10 Michigan Business Women 2014 Warrior Award.
Lievois is a savvy business leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and more than 25 years of experience in client management. She first joined ISCG in 1998 as the VP of Finance and Operations and has since turned the company into one of Metro Detroit’s top commercial interiors firms providing all elements necessary for creating inspired workplaces. Lievois holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Miami University of Ohio and an MBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame Graduate School of Business.
The NAWBO has been celebrating the accomplishments of Michigan businesswomen for 20 years, soliciting nominations through numerous businesses, community organizations, associations and the media.
Award winners are selected by independent judges based on several criteria including the financial growth of their companies and workforce, challenges they have overcome, community service and public advocacy in support of business. The Warrior award in particular recognizes a current successful woman business owner who has persevered through business loss and developed creative solutions to address challenges.
Lievois and the other recipients will be honored at an awards dinner on Thursday, March 13 from 6-10 p.m. at Laurel Manor in Livonia. For tickets please visit www.nawbogdc.org.
