Hylant Announces New Vice President in Orlando Office and Expansion of Property and Casualty Division

ORLANDO, Florida, January 30, 2013 — Hylant, one of the nation’s largest privately owned insurance brokerage firms, announced today that Adam Balls joined the leadership team at their Orlando, Fla. office, and will continue his current role as vice president and client executive. Balls transferred from Hylant’s Cincinnati, Ohio office, a strategic move that capitalizes on his proven experience and knowledge in risk management.

Hylant has a strong presence in the employee benefits sector in central Florida and Balls’ relocation further solidifies the company’s plans to offer existing and new clientele expanded services and opportunities.  As a property and casualty broker, Balls will work closely with the Orlando team to strategically expand Hylant’s property and casualty business in Florida.

Balls joined Hylant’s Cincinnati, Ohio office in 2006 as a client executive. Over the years, his responsibilities have included new business production, specializing in public entities, trade credit, manufacturing, and alternative risk financing, among others.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Bowling Green State University.  His professional designations include Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) and Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC).
