Company continues to open community branches to expand local services
BIRMINGHAM, Mich., August 28, 2012––First Preferred Mortgage Company, a Port Huron, Mich.-headquartered full-service residential mortgage bank, announced the opening of its new Birmingham, Mich. office located in the rail district at 2151 Cole Street, Birmingham, MI 48009. Dan Sugg, vice president of retail mortgage at First Preferred Mortgage Company, made the announcement.
With the economic landscape in Michigan continuing to experience positive signs of improvement, First Preferred Mortgage Company is continuing to find talented mortgage professionals and add additional community locations. The Birmingham location is the company’s fourth community location added in 2012, with additional locations planned to open before year’s end. The company has hired a total of 200 new team members during 2012.
Located in the city’s growing rail district, the Birmingham location offers local residents a chance to meet face to face with mortgage industry veterans who live and work in the Birmingham community—leading to a home buying experience with an added personal touch. The office is led by Chris Newberry and Luke Marton, who have both worked in the mortgage industry for more than 15 years. The aesthetics of the office also boast a modern, sleek design with a unique edge complete with large picturesque windows, chandeliers and other unique lighting features, a garage door that opens to the exterior, trees growing out of the concrete floors, an indoor pond, cedar wood accents that warm the overall ambience of the office, and a Harley Davidson motorcycle. This industrial style loft space was designed to offer a comfortable feel for clients as they make one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
“We believe that buying a home is one of the most important decisions families make, so having community-focused branch locations, like our Birmingham office, is the best way to get to know community members, keenly understand their needs and offer personalized service,” said Sugg. “Today, all too often everything in business is focused on only technology. We are bringing the personal touch back to the mortgage business—and our team members are thrilled to serve their hometown and work closely with the community.”
