General Manager gives seven-night getaway award to Director of Sales 

ROSEMONT, Ill., January 15, 2013 — Rosemont, Ill.-based First Hospitality Group, Inc., recognized the company’s Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Downtown at their annual strategic planning session for the hotel’s exceptional performance in sales, marketing and revenue management during 2012. First Hospitality Group, Inc., President and COO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Downtown’s team exceeded company benchmarks, which include double digit ADR (average daily rate) and RevPar (revenue per available room) growth, greatest increase in online contribution, sell out efficiency and exceeded top line revenue objectives.  Further, management consistently engages with customers online, responding to reviews and feedback, as well as maintaining a strong presence on Facebook and Twitter.

First Hospitality Group, Inc. awarded the hotel’s General Manager Andrew Scarlett with a seven-night trip to Sanibel Island for his efforts and his hotel’s excellent sustained performance results. Scarlett’s promotion of a sales culture, extensive market research and trend knowledge, results-driven pricing strategy and consistent communication with his staff were key to the hotel’s milestone achievements. Rather than accept the trip, however, Scarlett gifted the vacation, which includes airfare, accommodations in a two-bedroom condo and $500 spending money, to the hotel’s Director of Sales, Kathleen Rompf, to recognize her outstanding efforts in making the hotel a success.
