ROSEMONT, Ill., December 18, 2012 — Rosemont, Ill.-based First Hospitality Group, Inc. (FHG) announced today the addition of Tim Burger as director of marketing. First Hospitality Group, Inc. President and COO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.
With more than 15 years of marketing experience in the hospitality industry, in his new role, Burger is responsible for developing innovative marketing strategies for all hotel brands across the growing FHG portfolio.

Previously, Burger served as corporate director of Internet marketing for Chicago-based Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he oversaw all global digital marketing strategies for more than 440 hotels in 45 countries. In this role, he developed the brand’s online strategy, including the company’s website, social media presence and digital media programs. Burger also served as worldwide media manager for Chicago-based United Airlines, where he oversaw all of the brand’s advertising efforts including Internet, print, broadcast and radio.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a minor in journalism and mass communications from The University of Iowa. Burger currently resides in Chicago.
