ROSEMONT, Ill., June 4, 2009 — Rosemont, Ill.-based First Hospitality Group, Inc., today announced that several of its hotels received property-level awards in the first quarter of 2009. Marriott International, Hilton and Radisson Hotels and Resorts recognized exemplary service and leadership in multiple hotels owned and operated by First Hospitality Group. The announcement was made by First Hospitality Group president and COO, Robert Habeeb.
The Marriott awards were presented at the Marriott annual conference held in New Orleans in March 2009.
Receiving the Guest Satisfaction Survey (GSS) Gold award, the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Naperville, Ill., received excellent scores on guest satisfaction surveys, distributed between July and December 2008. Similarly, the Fairfield Inn and Suites in St. Charles, Ill. earned the GSS Silver award based on overall guest satisfaction in 2008.
Additionally, Valerie Weber, general manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott Toledo/Maumee was honored in January of 2009 with the Marriott award for Opening GM of the Year, presented to general managers who exemplify extraordinary hotel leadership, team building and development, financial management, sales leadership and community service. The hotel was also recognized as attaining GSS platinum status based on overall superior performance.
Hilton also recognized First Hospitality Group in the first quarter of 2009 with an award for the Hampton Majestic Chicago Theatre District Hotel. Earning a place on the Hampton Inn Wall of Fame, the Hampton Majestic Chicago Theatre District Hotel was recognized for its superior performance in the first quarter of 2009.

Radisson Hotels and Resorts also acknowledged First Hospitality Group’s dedication to performance, satisfaction and management in the first quarter of 2009. The Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Pleasant Prairie, Wis. was presented the Radisson President’s Award, honoring the hotel for its exceptional performance in management, marketing, sales and an outstanding use of company resources to achieve brand success. In addition, the hotel also received the Radisson ‘Yes I Can!’ Service Award, following a robust training series dedicated to providing hotel associates with the necessary tools to support the Radisson service philosophy of providing quality guest service.
