Farbman Group Partners with World Clothes Line to Donate T-Shirts to Local Individuals in Need

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 24, 2012 — Southfield-based Farbman Group, a leading full-service real estate company that manages the Fisher Building and New Center One in Detroit, partnered with World Clothes Line, a local clothing company that matches every item sold with a new item for someone in need, to donate T-shirts to local charities in Detroit. Andrew V. Farbman, CEO of Farbman Group, made the announcement.
For this corporate giving partnership, Farbman Group purchased 150 T-shirts from World Clothes Line featuring a custom logo commemorating the company’s 35 years in business for their employees. In turn, Farbman Group donated the same amount of T-shirts to local charitable groups—the Young Detroit Builders, a Detroit-based nonprofit organization that offers life skills and on-the-job construction training, and CommuniD BBQ, a nonprofit group that serves food to homeless people in the city of Detroit.
Farbman Group employees along with World Clothes Line attended the Young Detroit Builders graduation ceremony on Friday, July 20 and presented the 17 graduates with the donated T-shirts during their commencement ceremony.

World Clothes Line began in January of 2010 with the sole purpose of providing the functionality, protection and comfort to those less fortunate with basic clothing, including T-shirts, sweatshirts and pants.
