Farbman Group and Forum Group Announce Joint Venture

Strategic partnership makes boutique commercial real estate firm a new division of NAI Farbman Group
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., November 17, 2014 — Southfield, Mich.-based Farbman Group, a leading full-service real estate company and Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based Forum Group, a commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm, together announced today a strategic joint venture in which Forum Group will become part of the Farbman Group family of companies. As a result of this newly-formed partnership, Forum Group will gain access to the company’s extensive NAI Global network of real estate professionals, while augmenting Farbman Group’s already robust practices in Tenant Representation and Corporate Services. Andrew V. Farbman, CEO of Farbman Group and Thomas D. Lasky and Michael Ziecik Managing Members of Forum Group made the announcement.

Forum Group’s expertise and established partnerships in various real estate disciplines, from strategic planning and location consulting to workplace design and project management, complementing their in-house brokerage, consulting and investment resources, will become a part of this venture. The firm’s principals, Ziecik and Lasky will become principals of the newly formed Forum Group Real Estate Advisors, an NAI Farbman Company. The move further highlights Farbman Group’s continued commitment to Southeast Michigan, where the company was founded more than 35 years ago.
