David A. Trott Named 2010 Practitioner of the Year by Oakland County Republican Party

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., December 2, 2010 – David A. Trott, president and managing partner of Farmington Hills, Mich.-based law firm Trott & Trott, P.C., was recently honored with the “2010 Practitioner of the Year” award by the Oakland County Republican Party (OCRP).
David Law, chairman of the OCRP, presented Mr. Trott with the award during the 2010 Salute to Justice event on Wednesday, August 11, 2010.
Mr. Trott joined Trott & Trott in 1985 and became its managing partner in 1992. The firm specializes in the representation of lender and mortgage services in connection with residential mortgage defaults.
He is a 1981 graduate of the University of Michigan and a 1985 graduate of the Duke University School of Law. He served as President of United States Foreclosure Network (USFN) from 2002-2004, as well as President for the National Default Title Division of First American Title (NYSE: FAF) from 2003-2004.
A frequent author and speaker, Mr. Trott is currently an active member of numerous groups and boards including, the Young Presidents Organization, the Detroit Country Day School Board of Trustees, the University of Michigan Dean’s Advisory Board and the Karmanos Cancer Institute Board of Directors.
