CitrinGroup and Maddin Hauser to Offer Complimentary Foundation Management Seminar

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 30, 2009 — Southfield, Mich.-based CitrinGroup, an investment planning firm specializing in portfolio management, and Southfield-based Maddin, Hauser, Wartell, Roth & Heller, P.C. will hold a complimentary seminar entitled “Foundation Management: How to Make the Most of Investments and Engage Members in Today’s Economy.” The seminar will take place at The Community House in Birmingham, Mich. on Tuesday, July 14 at 7:30 a.m.
Jonathan Citrin, CEO of CitrinGroup, and Ron Sollish, attorney at Maddin Hauser, will host the seminar. The presentation will focus on advising foundation decision-makers on the best money management and operational practices amidst a tough economy.
With an extensive background in education and finance, and as a board member for several local non-profit organizations, Citrin will offer his expertise on investment policy, fund management in a down market and asset allocation.
Currently serving as Chairman of the Michigan Parkinson Foundation, Sollish has served on numerous local boards and has substantial non-profit experience. He will offer insight into operational issues for foundations, including how to engage boards, reduce expenses and continue to carry out foundation missions in a difficult economy.
