Christine Barringer Joins Wilbanks Energy Logistics as Corporate Controller

ARTESIA, N.M., September 22, 2014 – Artesia, N.M.-based Wilbanks Energy Logistics, an energy logistics company offering a broad range of services to the exploration and production industry, announced today the hiring of Christine Barringer as corporate controller. Wilbanks Energy Logistics CEO Michael Wysocki made the announcement.

As corporate controller, Barringer is responsible for developing, maintaining and analyzing the company’s financial information. She also prepares documentation to support business decisions and develop cost allocation processes.

“Christine comes to the Wilbanks team as a veteran in the financial industry,” said Wysocki. “Her expertise and financial savvy will be an asset to Wilbanks as we continue to develop business strategies to grow our customer portfolio in the Permian Basin and beyond.”

Prior to joining Wilbanks, Barringer was the director of financial reporting for HHI Group Holdings, a forged steel supplier. She has an extensive background in financial analysis, business development and consolidation services. Before working at HHI Group Holdings, she worked as the controller of Global Information Systems at TRW Automotive Inc., where she maintained the financial responsibility of the company and implemented cost saving initiatives. Barringer has also held professional finance positions at a range of companies, including Hayes Lemmerz International, ThyssenKrupp Materials NA and KPMG, LLP.

Barringer earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan.
