ORANGE, Calif., December 9, 2011 – USFN Executive Director & CEO Alberta Hultman announced today that Alexis Haughton, CMP, has joined the organization as Director of Education & Marketing.
Haughton will be responsible for the development of educational programs, sponsorship management, advertising and event management for the organization.
“We are excited to welcome Alexis to the USFN team,” said Hultman.“Her extensive management and planning background will surely prove to be an asset to our organization as we continue to grow throughout the industry.”
Haughton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Knox College, is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and has more than 10 years of experience in the planning, hospitality and management industries. She is an active member of Meeting Professionals International and the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
Prior to joining USFN, Haughton was the director of special events sales & marketing at the House of Blues (a division of Live Nation Entertainment) at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, Calif. Previously, she worked as the Special Events Sales Manager of the ESPN Zone (under the Disney Regional Entertainment umbrella) at locations in Downtown Disney in Anaheim, Calif. and in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
