AGIS to Host Free Seminar on Health Care Reform for Employers and Human Resource Professionals

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., August 20, 2010 – AGIS, a full-service insurance agency in Jacksonville, Fla., will host a no-cost informative seminar on Health Care Reform on Tuesday, September 14th. Breakfast and registration will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., with the seminar following from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Hotel Indigo Jacksonville, located at 9480 Tapestry Park Circle in Jacksonville.
This informational seminar will examine a wide range of issues relating to the Health Care Reform Bill and its impact on employers who sponsor group health plans. Anyone who handles a group health plan sponsored by an employer is encouraged to attend. Topics covered will include:
– Health Care Reform and its effect on 2010/2011 plan renewals
– Common misconceptions and expectations
– Compliance issues and regulations
– Significant provisions of the reform bill that will impact employers in the future
Mark Nixon, president of AGIS’s Jacksonville office, as well as Anne Borngesser, account executive at AGIS, will serve as presenters.
