Ackerman Ackerman & Dynkowski Attorneys Alan Ackerman and Darius Dynkowski Recognized as Michigan Super Lawyers

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., September 16, 2010 – Alan Ackerman, managing partner of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based Ackerman Ackerman & Dynkowski, and Darius Dynkowski, partner with the firm, have been recognized as two of the best eminent domain attorneys in Michigan by Super Lawyers magazine.

Published annually since 1991, Super Lawyers magazine is a comprehensive and diverse listing of the top five percent of practicing attorneys in each state, as selected by their peers. Spanning more than 60 distinct practice groups, the resource guide highlights attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Mr. Ackerman received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1968 and his Masters degree in 1971 from Michigan State University. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1972. Mr. Ackerman is the past Chair of the Michigan Real Property Section Condemnation Law Committee and serves as Vice-Chairman the American Bar Association Real Property Section Condemnation Committee. He has been an adjunct professor teaching eminent domain law at the University of Detroit Law School since 1983, and now serves as an adjunct professor at Michigan State University College of Law. Chambers USA has recognized Alan as one of the best eminent domain attorneys in the country since the inception of the award. In addition, he has been featured in Michigan Super Lawyers magazine for five consecutive years.

Mr. Dynkowski is a 1993 graduate of Wayne State University and he received his Juris Doctor degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1996. A published author, he currently serves as Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association, and board member on the Michigan State Board of Real Estate Appraisers, which provides licensure to state licensed and state certified real estate appraisers and real estate valuation specialists. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Detroit Law School since 2002 and at Michigan State University College of Law since 2009. Chambers USA have recognized Darius as one of the best eminent domain attorneys in the country since the inception of the award. Additionally, he has been featured in Michigan Super Lawyers magazine consecutively since 2007.
