Oakland County Bar Foundation to Host 11th Annual Signature Event Benefiting Law-Related Charitable Causes

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., March 16, 2010 — Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based Oakland County Bar Foundation (OCBF), a non-profit association serving the citizens of Oakland County and the legal profession, announced today that they will host their 11th Annual Signature Event to benefit Mich.-based law-related charitable causes. The event, which will take place on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Oakland Hills Country Club, located in Bloomfield Hills, will feature an “internationally inspired” strolling supper.
“Giving back to the community through legal support and services is at the core of the Oakland County Bar Foundation’s mission,” said Michael J. Sullivan, President of the OCBF. “Our largest and most-highly anticipated fundraiser, the Annual Signature Event, provides the OCBF with the resources to benefit and support so many incredible organizations. We are confident that this year’s strolling supper event will be a night to remember.”
Proceeds from the event have benefited the important work of the Beaumont Hospital Legal Aid for Children, Family Law Assistance Project, Legal Aid Mini Clinics, Michigan High School Mock Trial Tournament, Senior’s Law Day, The University of Detroit Mercy Mobile Law Office and the Youth Law Conference.
Tickets to the 11th Annual Signature Event are $150 per person (value of goods & services is $90) and can be purchased here or by sending payment to the Oakland County Bar Foundation, located at 1760 S. Telegraph Rd., Suite 100, Bloomfield Hills, Mich. 48302. Tickets must be purchased by April 7, 2010.
