LIVONIA, Mich., March 18, 2014 – The Recovery Project, a provider of aggressive, focused and effective physical and occupation therapy and training to people with traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, and other neurological disorders, announced today that co-CEO and lead physical therapist Polly Swingle will present at the National Ataxia Foundation’s Annual Membership Meeting in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 22. The Recovery Project co-CEO Charlie Parkhill made the announcement.

Polly’s presentation, titled “An Effective Exercise Prescription for Ataxia,” will focus on the research-proven benefits of exercise for people with ataxia, the loss of full control over bodily movements. She will share concrete, easily applicable tips for building effective exercise protocol, solutions to overcome exercise barriers and helpful information on how and why these exercises make a positive impact on quality of life.
