  • DETROIT, November 16, 2012 – Detroit-headquartered Inland Waters Pollution Control (IWPC), a leading provider of underground rehabilitation solutions, will host its Fourth Annual Free Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway on Tuesday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (or as supplies last). David Lusky, president and general manager of IWPC, made the announcement.

    In honor of the Thanksgiving holiday, IWPC will host the event at its headquarters, located at 4086 Michigan Ave. at Clark St. in Detroit. The event is open to Detroit residents 18 years or older. The company will donate 750 turkeys, one to each individual able to present valid proof of Detroit residency. Last year, all 750 turkeys were donated to attendees within two hours, so residents are encouraged to come early. Should any turkeys remain after the event ends, they will be donated to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit.

  • ATLANTA, December 27, 2011 – IPR Southeast, a leading provider of underground rehabilitation solutions throughout Atlanta, gave away 500 free turkeys on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in honor of the holiday season to members of the DeKalb County Workforce Development Program and Goodwill. IPR Southeast General Manager Steve Morini made the announcement.

    The event began at 11:00 a.m. at the company’s headquarters, located at 5207 Brer Rabbit Road in Stone Mountain, and featured employees from IPR Southeast and several of its partners handing out turkeys and canned goods, such as corn, green beans and sweet potatoes to previously identified families within the DeKalb County Workforce Development Program and Goodwill. The company ended the event at 2:00 p.m. and split any remaining turkeys between the two organizations.
