Riley is a public relations intern supporting Identity’s account team, where she is responsible for providing support to the agency’s diverse portfolio of clients. She is gaining experience in all areas of Identity’s media relations and social media practice areas, including copywriting and content creation, reporting, research and more.
Riley’s fascination with blending creativity into a world of analytics and business strategy led her to pursue a degree in advertising management and public relations from Michigan State University. During her time there, she completed an internship focusing on media relations and marketing along with a PR study abroad program. Her summer abroad gave her the opportunity to attend the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity where she listened to leading PR professionals share knowledge on winning campaign strategy. She was also a member of a student-run PR agency on campus called Hubbell Connections.
As a former travel hockey player, Riley loves sports and the excuse to bring out her competitive nature any chance she gets. She is an avid runner, enjoys wake surfing during the summer months, and loves coffee and Harry Potter. She also has a passion for the outdoors, which motivated recent trips like hiking the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim and exploring the Irish Cliffs of Moher.
