Lauracindy Plague Dávila

Account Executive

Lauracindy uses her firsthand expertise of broadcast media on Identity’s media relations & marketing team. In her role as an account executive, she provides research, copywriting, marketing and media relations support to clients.

After spending a decade in broadcast journalism, with experience on local and network assignment desks, Lauracindy made a move to the other side of communications. She spent the majority of her time prior to Identity at FOX 2 Detroit, where she focused on finding, developing, researching, and coordinating stories and segments for the most watched newscasts in Metro Detroit. Lauracindy has worked directly with reporters and producers, and knows exactly what a journalist needs to tell a great story.

Lauracindy graduated from the Residential College at the University of Michigan, with a dual major in Communication Studies and Spanish Language & Literature. During her time at U-M, she was involved in the student TV station, sang with an a cappella group, and served on the executive boards for both organizations.

In her recent spare time, Lauracindy has developed a love of gardening and enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her partner, dog, and cat. Lauracindy is a volunteer mentor for undergraduate students though the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science and the Arts Opportunity Hub. She has traveled to at least 30 states, approximately 30 countries, and 6 of the 7 continents. Can you guess which one she’s missing?
