Integrated public relations firm wins national awards for social media, special events, and media relations campaigns
BINGHAM FARMS, MICH., Nov. 21, 2014—Bingham Farms, Mich.-based Identity, an integrated public relations firm, has been honored as a 2014 MarCom Awards Gold Winner for its work on three integrated public relations campaigns. Identity founding partner Mark Winter made the announcement.
As a creative communications competition with international reach, the MarCom Awards recognize excellence in concept, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs by marketing and communications professionals. This recognition for Identity’s work comes on the heels of several recent agency awards, including 2014 PR Daily Awards for a rebranding campaign, and two Gold Hermes Creative Awards in the Logo/Design and Website Overall/Business to Business categories.
“As the only Michigan agency to receive accolades in the categories of social media campaign, special event and publicity campaign, we’re honored to be recognized on a national scale for the great work we deliver to our client partners,” said Winter. “These awards speak to the passion, creativity and understanding of how communications can positively impact business goals that our team brings to the table for each and every client we work with.”
The three gold awards recognized Identity’s innovative work on the following campaigns:
- Absopure Pure Michigan Partnership, Social Media Gold Award: By uniting media relations and social media strategies, Identity raised awareness, generated media coverage and engaged with Michigan residents and new Absopure customers in a meaningful way.
- Del Taco Epic Burrito Challenge, Special Event Gold Award: Identity developed and executed a special event centered around Cinco de Mayo, designed to boost Del Taco’s visibility, engage community members, drive participation and activate new brand advocates.
- Bill Pulte, Publicity Gold Award: To raise awareness and elevate the profile of the Detroit Blight Authority and its visionary CEO Bill Pulte, Identity crafted a media campaign that secured more than 383 pieces of media coverage from key local and national media, including Forbes, CNBC, Chicago Tribune and Detroit Free Press.
